Description
Deceptively green liquor, wild berry, smoky and buttery.
Pearl Greens delivers a unique aroma and a flavour proposition. These teas are purposely steeped in a glass vessel to visualize the mystic natures of Nepali culture that unfurl into an evoking visual of green Himalayan forest sprouts and hills.
Picking
Delicate leaves that are nimble while picking is selected to make the green pearls. Usually, soils with high water holding capacity and leaves with optimum moisture content make good green pearls. Therefore, leaves picked from a tea farm having a North or North West aspect are selected to make this tea.
Processing
The leaves are withered, fixed in a long-heated tumbler, rolled and shaped into small pellets or half ball shaped pellets. These pellets can be larger or evenly smaller. The evenly smaller ones depict white strips indicating the presence of hairy buds. The quality of Pearl Green is determined by shaping time variations and cold air conditioning of the leaves.
