SPECIALTY TEA ASSOCIATION OF NEPAL (STAN)

Specialty Tea Association Nepal is an umbrella organization of 46 small tea processors in Nepal. STAN has established its own blending, quality testing and packaging facility, three supply chain, and marketing companies; STAN TEA HUB Kathmandu, STAN LLC USA and STAN Australia who are responsible for reliable, consistent and fresh supply of quality tea directly from factory to national and international market.

The teas produced from small processors need to go through a secondary process to assure the quality control as per the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). With a private funding mechanism between the STAN members, ENTP  facilitates small farmers and processors to enter global markets ensuring their certified products conform to the minimum standards set internationally.
